JMFILTEC is a national high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research and production of high-quality pure silicon carbide membranes. Innovation breakthrough and win-win future
The silicon carbide ceramic membrane produced by JMFILTEC has the characteristics of high flux, easy cleaning, pollution resistance, and long service life. It is widely used in fields such as drinking water purification, separation of chemical processes, and production of new energy positive and negative electrode materials.
As one of the earliest domestic enterprises engaged in the research and development and production of silicon carbide ceramic membranes, the founding team of JMFILTEC began to develop related products in 2012 and has the first invention patent related to the preparation of silicon carbide ceramic membranes in China. The production base of JMFILTEC was built in Jiangshan City, Zhejiang Province in May 2022, achieving the goal of being put into operation and profitable that year. It has been a full 10 years since we started researching and developing silicon carbide ceramic membranes.
Ten years of sharpening a sword, tackling high precision and sharpness. We have been firmly following the path of scientific and technological innovation. We have successively carried out industry university research cooperation with Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, China Coal Technology Engineering Group(CCTEG) Hangzhou Research Institute Co., Ltd. and other institutions. This year, we also jointly established Zhejiang University - JMFILTEC Silicon Carbide Ceramic membrane Research Institute with Zhejiang University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Institute, to provide a scientific innovation platform and talent exchange base for the lab and pilot tests of new silicon carbide ceramic materials.
At present, the company's annual technology research and development investment accounts for 8.5% to 10% of the total sales of the enterprise. Through relevant scientific research cooperation and internal technology development, the company has made significant breakthroughs in technological innovation. In terms of technology, it is on the same level as international peers such as Saint Gobain and Denmark International Cleaning.
The production of silicon carbide ceramic membranes is different from other industries. Due to the lack of relevant automation equipment, there is currently a high dependence on manual labor, which is a major bottleneck restricting the development of industry enterprises. To solve this problem, the company has independently developed relevant production equipment, increasing the product qualification rate to 88% to 95%, making product quality and performance more stable and reliable. At the same time, this assembly line has greatly increased production capacity, reduced production costs, and increased production efficiency to more than 2.5 times. The company has also become the largest production scale and production capacity of silicon carbide ceramic membranes in China.
Innovation Breakthrough · Multi point blossom
With long-term persistence and investment in technological innovation, JMFILTEC has achieved "multi-point blossom" in 2023. Our company has not only been awarded the honorary title of "Zhejiang Province Specialized, Refined, Special, and New Small and Medium sized Enterprise", but also our independently developed brine refining and purification integrated equipment was included in the list of industrial energy-saving, carbon reducing, and water-saving process, technology, equipment, and engineering solution service providers in Zhejiang Province (2023 version) by the Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology in June of this year. At the same time, our company's high-purity silicon carbide ceramic membrane products have passed the first batch of new material certification in Zhejiang Province and been included in the "2023 Zhejiang Province Key First Batch New Material Application Demonstration Guidance Catalogue", becoming the first enterprise in Jiangshan City to pass the provincial first batch certification of new materials and the first enterprise in Jiangshan City to include its products in the provincial key new material catalog, achieving a breakthrough of "zero".
"In the future, we will invest more research and development efforts, establish postdoctoral workstations, enhance research and development capabilities, further solve production capacity technical bottlenecks, improve product stability, and strive to achieve capacity doubling by 2024."
